I was very impressed with Debbie form the first phone called to arranging the first meeting to talked about my late husband funeral arrangements. She was so caring and understanding, her way of communicating helped me and my family, gave us the assurance that Tim was in good hands.
Al though it was sad, I was impressed when I went to viewed Tim at the chapel of rest. Every effort had been made to helped with Tim´s hygiene, dignity and presentation.
I am so grateful and appreciated everything’s Debbie and of the funeral teams. But most of all grateful, of the way that funeral teams, arranged everything the way me and my family wanted. I will definitely recommend Howard´s funeral directors to anyone.

Having used Howards for my Mum last year, I used Howards for my beautiful wife Sally-ann 6 weeks ago, I can only say that Derek and the staff are wonderful and I cannot recommend them enough. The whole process was flawless and they show so much compassion and thought into everything they do. I would like to give a mention to chris, our limo driver, he came and opened up the chapel of rest out of hours for me as I was running late and gave me words that will live with me forever. They made a dark day, that little bit lighter....

Can't recommend these funeral directors enough. So professional, thoughtful and helpful. The office on Roe Lane Southport is so calm and we were always made to feel cared for and that our loved ones were also given the same care and respect.
They took care of our Dad in August 2023 and then our Mum in October 2024.
I visited my Mum a couple of times and was given all the time I wanted there with her.
The funerals went so smoothly and we were proud of the send off they had from Howard's funeral directors.
We will be forever grateful that they made this traumatic experience as easy as possible.

In the last 3 months I have used Howards services for both my parents. The service has been excellent from start to finish - with initial plans and suggestions, following up on arrangements, organising services etc to seamless events on the day. They pay particular attention to details and act with the utmost compassion and respect for yourselves and your loved one. I can recommend their services as 5 star and in particular thanks to Lindsay and Paul - but also the other more hidden members of this excellent team.

It is hard to express how grateful we are to Derek and all at Howards for the unwavering care and support given to our family during the worst time of our lives. His compassion and sincerity was felt from the start.

Derek looked after Stuart in every way possible, both here in Southport and on his journey home to Bradford. He explained what would happen leading up to the service and on the day and made sure that at least those worries were alleviated.

The care shown to our family did not stop after Stuart’s service. Derek continued to support us for as long as we needed so that we could fulfil all of Stuart’s wishes.
